探究发现
过去分词作(1)________ 时,表示动作在谓语行为之前发生,已经完成并具有(2)________ 意义。此时,作定语的过去分词一般是由(3)________ 动词转化,因为只有此类动词的过去分词才有被动意义。
基础盘点
●不及物动词的过去分词也可作定语,一般作前置定语,不表示被动意义,只强调动作的状态或完成。如fallen leaves“落叶”;retired wrkers“退休工人”;the risen sun“升起的太阳”。
●过去分词短语有时还可用作非限制性定语,相当于一个非限制性定语从句,前后用逗号分开。

过去分词作宾语补足语

探究发现
英语里,用作宾语补足语的过去分词(短语)一般都表示被动或完成的意义,表明宾语所处的状态,宾语与宾语补足语之间常存在逻辑上的(1)________ 关系。
(2)________ 动词(短语)see、watch、bserve、lk at、hear、listen t、find、feel、ntice等接过去分词(短语)作宾语补足语时,表示“看到/听到/发现感受到某事/某人被……”。
(3)________ 动词have、make、get、keep、leave等接过去分词(短语)作宾语补足语时,表示“致使某事/某人被……”。
表示命令、愿望或想法的动词rder、want、wish、expect等接过去分词(短语)作宾语补足语时,表示“要求/希望某事/某人被……”。
基础盘点
过去分词在句中也可以作主语补足语,说明主语所处的状态。
The dr was left unlcked befre he went t bed last night. 昨天晚上他睡觉前没锁门。
●过去分词与现在分词、不定式作宾语补足语的区别:
过去分词作宾语补足语,宾语和补足语之间是逻辑上的动宾关系;现在分词作宾语补足语,宾语和补足语之间是逻辑上的主谓关系,其动作与谓语动作同时进行;不定式作宾语补足语强调动作发生的全过程,有时也表示一个将来的动作。注意:see、hear等动词后面作宾语补足语的不定式要省略t。

We saw him cleaning the fallen leaves in the yard this mrning. 今天早晨我们看见他在院子里扫落叶。
