    Step 1: Lead-in——Watch and retell the scene in the vide
    Students will be asked t enjy the beginning f the play——The Millin Pund Bank Nte and retell the scene with the help f the pictures:
    Q1: What happened in the vide? Can yu retell it with yur wn wrds?
    Q2: Where did the clip cme frm?
    Q3: Wh were these men?
    Q4: Why did the wealthy men invite the yung man t their huse? And what happened in the huse?

    Reading tip1: Get the hidden message and the emtins f the characters frm their lines.

    Narratr: Tw rich brthers, Rderick and Olive have made a bet. Oliver believes that with a millin-pund bank nte a man culd live a mnth in Lndn. His brther Rderick dubts it. They see a pr yung man walking utside their huse. It is Henry Adams.
    Rderick: Yung man, wuld yu step inside a mment, please?
    Henry: Wh? Me, sir?
    Rderick: Yes, yu.
