D yu remember the name f yur kindergarten teacher? I d, mine. Her name was Mrs. White.

The scrawl (潦草的笔迹) in that wrried my mther, s ne day when she met Mrs. White fr ne f thse Parent-Teacher meetings, she asked her why she never crrected my mistakes. Why she never red-pencilled in the right spellings f wrds r pinted ut grammatical errrs.
Mrs. White said, “The children are just beginning t get excited abut using wrds, abut frming sentences. I dn’t want t dampen that enthusiasm with red ink. Spelling and grammar can wait ...” What my mther gave me was the gist f what she culd remember. But I grew up learning t use wrds with lving cnfidence just like that.
And it ccurs t me that if Mrs. White had used her red pen mre precisely I prbably wuldn’t be telling yu abut this nw. I lk back nw and think she must have been a rather extrardinary teacher—t restrain (限制) her red pen. T allw the jy, wnder and excitement f expressin flwer—hwever faultily—like that.

When we’re trying t decide which cell phne case t buy r which htel rm t bk, we ften rely n the ratings (评价) and reviews f thers t help us chse. But research suggests that we tend t use this infrmatin in ways that can actually wrk t ur disadvantage.

B. Hw past experiences influence cnsumers’ chice f prducts.
C. Hw prduct quality influences cnsumers’ chice f prducts.
D. Hw infrmatin nline influences cnsumers’ chice f prducts.

A. It always lets peple make pr decisins.
B. It leads t the bias that can result in pr decisin-making.
C. It has little influence n peple’s decisin-making.
D. It allws users t chse fine quality prducts ut f pr nes.
34. What d the participants’ chices in the experiment shw?
A. They shw a preference fr higher-priced gds.
B. They balance quality and quantity (数量) f reviews well.
