活动四:词汇复习:Cmplete the first part(SB,P68,Part1)
1. G thrugh the wrds in the bx and make sure students understand their meanings.
2. Ask students t read the part and fill in the blanks with the crrect frms f the wrds in the bx.
3. Share the answers first in pairs r grups and then with the whle class.
Suggested answers:
PartⅠ:The first freign language I ever learnt was French, but it didn’t g very well. My mther asked ur neighbur t teach me when I was seven. French wasn't his native language, but he used t live in France, s he culd speak a little. Hwever, despite his help, I learnt very little French. I just didn't feel that it related t my daily life in any way, s I didn't try. When I entered senir high schl, my attitude twards language learning changed. I had t learn Latin, which I've always been interested in because I want t study law. Fr this reasn, learning Latin wasn't a struggle fr me like learning French. Sn I began t read classic bks in Latin. It certainly wasn't easy, but I gt t read lts f interesting stries abut ancient civilisatin. Reading thse bks pened a windw fr me t anther wrld and gave me a new pint f view n my wn wrld.

1. Ask students t read the passage and understand its meaning. If necessary,help students t understand any difficult sentences they may think.
2. Ask students t read and try t cmplete the nuns and the restrictive relative clauses.
3. Share the answers first in pairs r grups and then with the whle class.
Suggested answers:
PartⅡ:I became interested in learning mre languages aside frm English. Then I saw an advertisement that ffered a wnderful summer curse in German, and that was the day when I decided t take n a new language. The building where we met fr classes was quite small, but there was a whle wrld f language t explre. Our teacher was Mrs Haus: a tall, thin, quiet, grey-haired lady. I'll never frget the first class in which she intrduced herself t us. She never nce raised her vice but as sn as he began t speak,the rm fell silent. What was the rea sn?Because Mrs Haus LOVED German language and culture-and everybdy wh was in her classes culdn't help but lve the language, t. We all lved the way that she talked abut German fd and traditins. And I realised what makes a gd teacher. A gd teacher is smene wh is in lve with what she r he is teaching.
