    The first text intrduces the authr's travel plan fr Xi'an in the frm f e-mail. The authr uses the present Prgressive tense t express future plans and arrangements, such as the main purpse f travel, key landscapes, ther scenic spts and travel safety.
    The language f this text is relaxed and casual, and it is the cmmunicatin between yung friends, and it is used sme impressive expressins as fllws:
    “It is an amazing sight, and I can't wait t g.”
    “Terractta Army is almst unbelievable. ""It's amazing t think f that. ""
    The secnd text is a prpaganda page abut Terractta Warrirs and Hrses, intrducing the basic situatin f Terractta Warrirs and Hrses, in rder t prvide students with infrmatin abut the brigade.

    2. Enable students t use sme writing skills flexibly.

    Step 1: Lead in
    Begin the class with the lead-in questins: hw t write t yur friend an impressive travel plan? What kinds f aspects shuld be included? It is strngly recmmended that the teacher shuld ask students t discuss the tpic freely with their partners and brainstrm sme ideas cncerning the tpic. In this way, students can cme up with mre ideas and avid being nervus at the beginning f the class.
    Step 2: Read t discver details
    The teacher is expected t ask students t read Richard’s email t his friend and the brchure that he fund silently and then request students t slve the task belw.
    Study the rganizatin and language features by summarizing the email:
    Paragraph 1: main purpse fr the trip
    Paragraph 2: ther plans fr the trip
    Paragraph 3: transprt
    Paragraph 4: final thughts
    Tip: In this step, what shuld be highlighted is that the teacher ught t give students prper time t read individually, silently and think independently. There is n need fr them t discuss the detailed questins. In this way, students can develp their individual lgical thinking ability and prmte their skills f finding details.

    Step 5:The summary f hw t write a travel plan.

    Is there a clear purpse fr the trip?
    为了提升旅行计划的层级,还需注意以下几个方面的问题:
    1.每段是否有明确清晰的主题;
    2.用一般现在时代替一般将来时:
    3.用更高级的形容词词汇。例如:表达“好”时,不要总用“nice”,我们还可以用“smart, clean, excellent, exciting, beautiful, wnderful, clever, famus, grand”等表达更具有指向性的同汇:
    4.用更高级的动词词汇。比如:我们可以用“seem stand, lie .get stay, remain, lk . sund, becme . keep, grw”等代替"be";
    5.所有“专有名词”要大写:
    6.文章最后要有适当的总结性语言。
