    Step 2: Pre-reading
    When talking abut healthy eating, what cmes t yur mind first?
    Dn’t eat t much.
    Eat slwly.
    Eat mre fruits and vegetables.
    Drink plenty f water.
    Dn’t skip breakfast.
    Dn’t eat fd high in fat and sugar.

    What is a balanced diet?
    Is it when all the meals weigh the same?
    Is it when yu eat the same fd in every meal?
    Is it when yu eat the same amunts f all fds?
    Is it when yu eat yur meals balanced n a see-saw?
    Step 3: While-reading
    Activity 1: Read fr the main idea
    Read the passage and then match the subheadings with the paragraphs.

    Para.3 C. The Real Killer is Sugar.
    Para.4 D. The Way Yu treat fd matters.
    Para.5 E. Keep It Fresh and Balanced.

    Accrding t the subheadings, draw the mind map f the passage structure.

    Use what yu have learnt and discussed t write an essay abut yur wn diet.
