Listening TextTday, I’d like t speak t yu abut the ink wash animated film Feeling frm Muntain and Water. Let's start by talking abut the backgrund f ink wash animatin, an animatin style that is unique t China. This style cmbines Chinese traditinal art with mdern animatin techniques. In the late 1950s，inspired by the ink wash painter Qi Baishi, the Shanghai Animatin Studi began t explre ways t turn Chinese traditinal paintings int cartn frm. The first ink wash animatin film, Tadples Searching fr Mther, was prduced in 1960, and it received internatinal praise. Fllwing this, The Cwby's Flute was prduced in 1963, receiving the glden prize at an internatinal film festival. Finally, in 1988, the ink wash animatin masterpiece, Feeling frm Muntain and Water was created.
Let’s turn nw t the film itself. The film tells the simple stry f an ld musician and a yung by. In the film, an ld musician falls ill while travelling and is helped by a yung by. T thank the by, the musician teaches him hw t play the guqin. With the change f the seasns, it is time fr the musician t leave. As the musician says gdbye, he gives the by his guqin, and then disappears int the mist. Then, when the by sits dwn t play the guqin, all f nature jins him in a visual symphny. The film has n dialgue. And, unlike typical cartns, the film has n bright clurs. In shrt, it is like a fine ink wash painting which has been brught t life—a painting with mvement. The animatin and the music make the film nt nly appealing t the eyes and cars but als rich in emtin. Therefre, this 18-minute film is regarded by many as a masterpiece f Chinese ink wash animatin.
After the late 1980s, the high cst f prducing ink wash animatin caused film studis t stp making them. The techniques used t prduce such films simply required t much wrk, as each frame f the film had t be hand painted. Hwever, in 2016, new artists have begun t make ink wash animated films using cmputers. It is hped that these new techniques will breathe new life int this art frm.

IntrductinWelcme the audience:Gd mrning, everybdy. Welcme t my presentatin.Intrduce the subject:I’m very excited t have this pprtunity t talk abut ne f my favrite pieces f art. It is called The Starry Night and was painted by Vincent van Ggh in 1889.
Main bdyBackgrund f the wrk f art：First, let me tell yu abut the backgrund f this painting. It shws the French twn, Saint-Remy-de-Prvence at night. It is based n the view frm a windw in a hspital where Van Ggh was a patient. Sadly, he suffered frm health issues thrughut his life, and his wrk nly fund fame(获得名气) after his death. Althugh it shws the view at night, Van Ggh painted it during the day frm memry. He als painted ther versins at different times f day.
Descriptin f the wrk f art:This is an il painting n canvas(画布). One can immediately tell frm its features that it is a Van Ggh painting. Fr example, the swirls(旋动) in the sky shw Van Ggh’s distinctive painting style. The curled dashes f bld clr(清晰明显的色彩) can be seen in many f his wrks. The mn and stars are big and yellw. This was Van Ggh’s favrite clr.
Review f the wrk f art:Althugh Van Ggh did nt think the painting was very gd, it is cnsidered a masterpiece and is ne f the mst recgnized paintings in the histry f Western art. It really captures the viewers’ attentin and draws them in. It gives the viewer an idea f the state f mind f Van Ggh at this difficult time in his life.
