T say that Spanish painter Pabl Picass was a leader in Western art in the 20th century is t repeat an accepted fact, accrding t Time magazine. “N painter befre him had enjyed such a large fllwing in his wn lifetime.”
This year marks the 140th anniversary f Picass’s birth. Brn n Oct. 25, 1881, Picass had created mre than 20,000 paintings, drawings, sculptures and ther pieces f art by the time he died at 91.
That’s a lng time t paint! The result is nt nly a lt f art, but a lt f different phases in Picass’s wrk. On its website, Christie’s auctin (拍卖) huse lists eight different perids in the curse f his painting career.
