活动一：英语释义
1.Ask students t write dwn the wrd that matches each definitin.
Suggested answers：

2.Ask students t find the sentences cntaining these wrds in the text.
Suggested answers：

【设计意图】现阶段，我国高中英语课堂上大多数还是采用中文释义的方式进行词汇教学，这使得学生在学习词汇的过程中严重受母语干扰，致使学习效率不高且在使用过程中频频犯错。将英文释义应用于词汇教学中，有助于提高学生对词汇内涵的理解，也有助于提高学生对英语句意的理解，帮助学生形成英语语感和语言意识，提高学生英语思维能力。
活动二：学习常见后缀
Intrduce sme cmmn suffixes t students.
（1）-in、-sin、-tin、-atin、-itin表示状态、结果、动作等，如：actin、slutin、cnclusin、destructin、expressin、crrectin。
（2）-ment表示物品和物质名称等，如：instrument、equipment、attachment。
（3）-able、-ible有“能……的，可以……的”等含义，如：mvable、drinkable、changeable、visible。
（4）-ize、ise表示“变成；使……化”等含义，如：
mdernize、mechanize、demcratize。
【设计意图】让学生学习相关的词根知识，有助于学生正确应用单词的形式。

活动三：内化与运用
