    The new survey lks at attitudes twards later life in peple aged 18 and abve and has been cnducted t mark the start f a new TV advertising campaign. With the psitive attitudes f many f thse aged 60 and abve wh describe their lifestyles as interesting (38 per cent), varied (42 per cent) fun (20 per cent) and satisfying (24 per cent), it shws the natin that grwing lder des nt mean that interests and hbbies shuld stp.
    It features peple ding what they enjy, celebrating later life and all that it can ffer. This is in sharp cntrast t sme yunger peple’s ideas f ld age as bring and slwer-paced. Amng thse featured are a Tai Chi grup, dancers, a 91-year-ld bdybuilder, and an 81-year-ld singing leading lady. Many f them are peple wh have been directly helped by Age UK. The advertisement aims t shw the different services and prducts that Age UK ffers and hw it can help peple t make the mst f later life.
    Michelle Mitchell, Charity Directr at Age UK said, “Thrugh ur research and the exciting new TV advertisement, we hpe t shw anther side f grwing lder and encurage peple f all ages t take up sme hbbies. One in five says that they have felt mre cmfrtable in their wn skin since they reached 60 years f age, and this cnfidence helps t give peple the drive t try the activities they have always wanted t try.”
