During the Crimean War, Flrence and her team thugh encuntering difficulty and danger, went t the frnt and saved numerus lives. She had a crucial influence n funding the Internatinal Red Crss.
In 1912, Internatinal Nurses’ Day was funded in hnur f her extrardinary cntributin t the health care cause.

Later she encuntered Prfessr Pierre Curie and married him in 1895. They researched tgether and discvered plnium and radium, which are f vital imprtance t physics.
