    The regin is engaged in a multi-day earthquake-and-tsunami drill invlving arund 20, 000 peple. The Cascadia Rising drill gives area residents and emergency respnders a chance t practice what t d in case f a 9. 0-magnitude earthquake and tsunami alng ne f the natin’s dangerus and underestimated faults.
    The Cascadia Earthquake Zne is big enugh t cmpete with San Andreas (it’s been called the mst dangerus fault in America), but it’s much lesser knwn than its Califrnia cusin. Nearly 700 miles lng, the earthquake zne is lcated by the Nrth American Plate ff the cast f Pacific British Clumbia. Washingtn, Oregn and Nrthern Califrnia.
