The latest discvery was reprted in research by a team f scientists at University Cllege Lndn (UCL) published in the jurnal Nature Astrnmy. “We fund water thrugh the Hubble Space Telescpe,” UCL astrphysicist Ing Waldmann said. It marks the first time that scientists have fund water in the atmsphere arund a super-Earth.
Angels Tsiaras, an astrnmer at UCL, said the team is wrking n finding explanets whse cnditins are similar t thse n Earth. “But f curse its purpse is nt t find a place where we culd g,” Tsiaras said. “While light frm the sun takes several minutes t reach Earth, light frm K2-18b’s star takes a century t reach ur planet, s it’s impssible fr us t travel there.”
