Be hnest: hw ften des yur scial media scrlling lead t shpping? And hw many f thse things that TikTk made yu buy did yu actually need? Enter de-influencing, the TikTk trend aiming t save ur bank balances in the prcess.
De-influencing is the TikTk trend with hundreds f millins f views that’s challenging the prmtin arund s-called ppular prducts by telling yu what yu shuldn’t buy, instead f what yu shuld. It’s a respnse t a few different things, including a general feeling f ver-cnsumptin and the cst f living crisis.
“Peple are experiencing a general scial media fatigue (厌倦) at the mment,” says makeup artist and beauty cntent creatr Rse Gallagher. “Originally, user-generated cntent was s ppular because peple tended t share thughts n things that they had purchased themselves with n real cnnectin t the brand. Hw is de-influencing different frm influencing? It sunds prgressive, but nce yu scratch the surface, there isn’t a huge difference between influencing and de-influencing. “It’s still influence but it’s telling peple what nt t buy,” says Kendall. While TikTkers may be warning cnsumers away frm expensive r well-knwn prducts, sme cntinue t influence by telling cnsumers what they shuld buy instead.
Being hnest and authentic has the ptential t pay ff, t. While criticizing big brands may reduce an influencer’s chances f landing a new deal in the shrt term, it als may increase their lng-term reach as they gain a reputatin fr being trustwrthy. Sparking debates ver whether a prduct wrks r nt can als drive sales fr brands, as cnsumers respnd by wanting t try it fr themselves.
What is different abut de-influencing is encuraging cnsumers t take a mment t think abut whether they need a prduct and whether it’s right fr them versus whether they’re simply being influenced because it’s new, ppular, r exciting. This is part f a bigger mvement in beauty.
28. Why des the authr pse the tw questins in paragraph1?
A. T test readers’ hnesty.B. T present peple’s dubts.
C. T intrduce the tpic f the passage.D. T give a warning against scial media.

30. In what way is de-influencing similar t influencing accrding t the authr?
A. Staying hnest and authentic in face f prfits.
B. Guiding cnsumers’ decisins n purchasing.
C. Warning cnsumers away frm expensive prducts.
D. Leading custmers t try prducts by sparking debates.
31. What is the writer’s attitude twards de-influencing?
A. Dubtful.B. Objective.C. Disapprving.D. Sympathetic.
C 29. C 30. B 31. B

根据第一段“Be hnest: hw ften des yur scial media scrlling lead t shpping? And hw many f thse things that TikTk made yu buy did yu actually need? Enter de-influencing, the TikTk trend aiming t save ur bank balances in the prcess.(说实话:你浏览社交媒体的频率是多少?抖音让你买的东西中有多少是你真正需要的?在这个过程中,TikTk的“去影响力”趋势旨在挽救我们的银行余额。)”可知,第一段提出两个问题的目的是引出文章的主题,即抖音的“去影响力”趋势。故选C。
【29题详解】
细节理解题。根据第一段中“And hw many f thse things that TikTk made yu buy did yu actually need?(抖音让你买的东西中有多少是你真正需要的?)”、第二段中“It’s a respnse t a few different things, including a general feeling f ver-cnsumptin and the cst f living crisis.(这是对一些不同事情的反应,包括过度消费和生活成本危机的普遍感觉。)”以及第三段中“Originally, user-generated cntent was s ppular because peple tended t share thughts n things that they had purchased themselves with n real cnnectin t the brand. Nw, with s much t be gained frm giving a psitive review, it has becme harder t tell the genuine reviews frm thse influenced by the ptential fr earning.(最初,用户生成内容之所以如此受欢迎,是因为人们倾向于分享他们自己购买的东西,而与品牌没有真正的联系。现在,由于给予积极的评价会让你收获良多,要区分真实的评价和受潜在收入影响的评价变得越来越难了。)”可知,导致去影响力的因素有过度消费的整体感觉、现代生活的高成本以及们购买超出需求的行为,越来越多的真实评论不是造成去影响力的因素。故选C。
【30题详解】
细节理解题。根据倒数第三段“It’s still influence but it’s telling peple what nt t buy(它仍然有影响力,但它告诉人们不要买什么)”和“While TikTkers may be warning cnsumers away frm expensive r well-knwn prducts, sme cntinue t influence by telling cnsumers what they shuld buy instead.(虽然TikTkers可能在警告消费者远离昂贵或知名的产品,但一些人继续通过告诉消费者应该买什么来影响消费者。)”
It sunds prgressive, but nce yu scratch the surface, there isn’t a huge difference between influencing and de-influencing.(去影响与影响有何不同?这听起来很进步,但一旦你触及表面,影响和去影响之间并没有太大的区别。)”和最后一段“What is different abut de-influencing is encuraging cnsumers t take a mment t think abut whether they need a prduct and whether it’s right fr them versus whether they’re simply being influenced because it’s new, ppular, r exciting.(去影响的不同之处在于,鼓励消费者花点时间思考他们是否需要一种产品,它是否适合他们,而不是仅仅因为它是新的、流行的或令人兴奋的而受到影响。)”
