Franklin wanted t knw if lightning was really prduced by electricity r smething else. S, n the afternn f a thundering June day, Franklin decided t fly a kite. He prepared a kite, a key and a lng string. He first attached his kite t a piece f string, and then tied a metal key at the ther end f the string.
