It is a small step fr a plant, and a giant leap fr plant kind. A spruting (发芽) cttn seed n China’s Chang’e-4 lunar lander is the first plant ever t grw in anther wrld, indicating a new era fr life in space.
Seeds, including cttn, arabidpsis (拟南芥), ilseed rape (油菜) and ptat were carried t the Mn as a part f bilgical experiment, alng with fruit fly eggs and sme yeasts (酵母).
