I used t spend the secnd half f Sunday fearing Mnday mrning. Over the years, little tweaks t my rutine have changed things t the pint that I am in the “I Lve Mnday” camp. Here’s what I’ve fund that wrks:
Cnsider Sunday nights yur warm-up fr Mnday. Get everything yu need fr the mrning ready t g. If mrnings are a it a try at least fr Mndays and see if it makes a difference. Once that,s dne, cnsider a special “Sunday Night Only” calming dwn ritual (惯例).It might be tea and a favrite TV shw,r it might be a lng ht bath and reading until yu’re ready fr sleep. Whatever it is, enjy this Mnday mrning warm-up, and cnsider sleeping a little earlier than yu’re used t,in rder t help with the secnd step.
One f my favrite parts f the weekend is sleeping in and waking up when I’m ready instead f fighting with the alarm fr “Just five mre minutes!” Sleeping a little early n Sunday night can help with getting up a little early n Mnday mrning nt t pack mre int yur mrning t-d list, but t give yurself time t take it slwly. When yu have a little extra time in the mrning,yu can gently settle int the day and keep that weekend feeling f ease as yu start yur new week.
Find a theme fr the week. Every Mnday, I pst an inspiring qute r saying. These are intentinal! Each week, as part f my Sunday night calming dwn time, I cnsider what I,d like t fcus n in the cming week, and lk fr a qute that’s a gd fit t strengthen it.
What are yu excited abut fr the new week? What prblem-slving pprtunities d yu have? What’s been hanging ver yur head undne frm last week? During yur preparatin time n Sunday night, think abut the week ahead and mark a few things that yu want t get dne and can reasnably accmplish. If pssible, schedule at least ne f them fr Mnday, s yu’ve started yur week ff feeling successful, instead f feeling like there’s a muntain f tasks ahead f yu. The wrk is the same either way, but ur attitudes are always within ur cntrl. When yu are intentinally creating a life yu lve, Mndays begin t feel less like drudgery (单调乏味的苦差事),and mre like a beautiful start!

Smetimes peple call each ther “scared-cat”,but have yu ever thught abut this expressin? When a cat is frightened, its heart starts beating faster, its muscles get tense and there are changes in the chemicals in its bldstream. Althugh the cat desn’t realize this, its bdy is getting ready fr actin. If the danger cntinues, the animal will d ne f tw things. It will prtect itself, r it will run away as fast as it can.
Smething like this als happens t peple. When we are excited, angry r scared, ur bdies als g thrugh many physical changes. Our hearts beat faster, and ur muscles get tense. All f these changes make us mre alert (机敏的)and ready t react. We,t,get ready t defend urselves r run.
Human beings, hwever, have a prblem that animals never face. If we give way t ur feelings and let them take ver, we can get int truble. Have yu ever said smething in anger r hit smebdy and regretted it later? Have yu ever shuted at a teacher, tld smebdy yu were lnely, r said yu were in lve , and then wished later yu had kept yur muth shut? It isn’t always clever t express yur feelings freely.
Des this mean that it’s smarter t always hide ur feelings? N! If yu keep feelings f anger and sadness hidden away r bttled up inside, yur bdy stays tense. Physical illness can develp, and yu can feel disturbed badly inside. It can actually be bad fr yur health. It isn’t gd t keep pleasant feelings inside either; all feelings need t be expressed.

What shuld yu d? Dn,t listen t thught-leaders r Linked in influencers but figure ut what wrks best fr yu. Pay attentin t when yu feel mst tired and mst awake. Make a nte f the times yu fall asleep and wake up naturally. Try t adjust yur schedule t thse times, as that’s hw yu’ll tap int mst f yur natural energy fr the day ahead.
