含义： 表示过去某一时刻或某一段时间正在进行或发生的动作。结构： be (were/was) + ding例句：I was playing basketball at ten ’clck yesterday.例句： I was having an English class frm seven t nine ’clck yesterday.
与过去进行时连用的时间状语有:
1.at this （that）time +过去时间2.at ten ’clck+过去时间3.frm 6 t 9+过去时间4.thse days 5.由when/while引导的一般过去时的句子，
