In recent years there has been a significant decrease in their use, and their bvius shrtcmings cmpared t air cnditiners make their cmplete disappearance in the near future pssible. Firstly, electric fans are far less effective in cling a rm. While the breeze they prduce can feel pleasant, it des nt lwer the verall temperature.
