Thugh its ld brick exterir remained unchanged, it was like a different wrld inside. There were shelves selling statinery, psters and ther best-seller-themed gifts, a big screen displaying custmers’ cmments n the mnth’s best-seller, a café selling rganic fd and mre cmmunity events such as bk readings, petry recitals and even jazz cncerts and mvie nights.
    Step 5: Practical applicatin
    Think abut tw questins.
    1) What d yu think f the changes made t the bkstre and why?2) D yu think physical bkstres will survive facing the challenge f nline bkstres and why?
    1) I think they are quite imprtant, because the changes bring the Rainbw Bkstre back t life by prviding a new reading experience fr custmers. Fr example, peple can have a cup f cffee while reading and engage in mre cmmunity events like bk readings hsted by the bkstre. All these changes make the bkstre mre appealing and cmpetitive.
    2) Yes, because cmpared with the nline bkstres, the physical bkstre has its wn advantages. Fr example, generally, physical bkstres allw cnsumers t immediately btain their bks while custmers wh buy bks nline have t wait fr a lnger time. With mre creative ideas put frward, physical bkstres will have a prmising future.
    Step 6: Hmewrk
    (1) Write a shrt passage t intrduce the new Rainbw Bkstre and shw yur pinin n the change t the bkstre, using wrds, expressins and sentence patterns learned in class.(2) Find the sentences with the past cntinuus passive frm in the passage and preview the Using Language sectin.
