We decided t wait fr the ship as lng as pssible, because we had n ther hpe f safety. I suggested that we save ur strength s that bth f us wuld nt be tired ut at the same time. This was hw we did it: While ne f us lay n his back, quite still, with arms crssed and legs stretched ut, the ther wuld swim and push him alng. We exchanged every ten minutes r s. In this way, we culd swim fr hurs, perhaps till daylight. The crash f the ship and the whale had appeared at abut eleven ’clck. We had abut eight hurs t swim befre daylight. This seemed pssible, if the sea remained calm.

The ppularity f the vide has attracted peple’s attentin n the unlikely stry f a ballet schl in a pr small twn f Lags, Nigeria: the Leap f Dance Schl. Set up in 2017, the schl has changed the lives f its students, prviding them a place t dance and t dream. And in the last few mnths, it has inspired influential peple in ballet t lend a hand. Fr nw, the Leap f Dance Schl is hused at the hme f its funder, Daniel Owseni Ajala. Every day after schl, Mr. Ajala’s 12 students walk t his apartment, where he pushes aside his furniture t leave a space t dance.

Scientists believed the heavy thunderstrm that afternn may have caused a watersput. Watersputs can be frmed when strng winds mve quickly in a circle ver water.
