(2) prevent v. 阻止 prevent sb. frm ding sth. 阻止某人做某事 ， 动词prevent也可以换成stp或者keep. stp…(frm) ding=keep…frm ding stp/prevent后的frm可以省略。 Yu must prevent the kids frm playing with fire. =Yu must stp the kids (frm) playing with fire. =Yu must keep the kids frm playing with fire. 你必须阻止孩子们玩火。

Cmpared with life n the Earth, life n Mars wuld be better in sme ways. 与地球上的生活相比，火星上的生活在某些方面要好些。(1) cmpared with life n the Earth 过去分词短语作状语, cmpare 放在句首作状语时， 表示被动要用cmpared，表示主动用cmparing。 Cmpared with many peple, she is really lucky. 和许多人相比，她真的很幸运。 Cmparing this bk with that ne, she fund this ne is better. 把这本书和那本书作比较，她发现这本书比较好。
