Zm in! Well, when I was yung, I believed that the Internet was sme magic trick created by a secret grup f magicians which makes it flat thrugh the cluds. Hahaha!
But, when I came acrss its actual definitin, I understd that it is a netwrk that cnnects millins f cmputers wrldwide, en, but the imprtant questin still remains the same, hw des this magic happen? Imagine yu and yur friend want t share a picture r sme ther essential dcument with each ther.
And t d s, the first thing yu bth will need are cmputers that are cnnected in a netwrk with the help f the Internet. Then nce yu establish this cnnectin, yu visit the website using a brwser. Lg int yur accunt, type yur message r attach the file yu wish t send, and finally, when everything is dne, yu press the send buttn and VOLA! It's dne. Sunds easy, right?
Well, what lked s easy at first glance has a cmplex system wrking behind it. Yes, my friend, the messages yu send are actually enrmus in size, and it's very hard fr the Internet t carry such a massive package t its destinatin.
S t make it easier, this huge package is brken dwn int smaller packages and then they are mved further t the receiver with the help f an essential device called the ruter. And what is a ruter? A ruter is a netwrking device that helps in the transfer f data packages between cmputer netwrks, in ther wrds frm a sender t the receiver.
But hw? Well, it des with the help f an Internet prtcl r an IP address. Oh n! Nw, what's an IP address? S many technical terms! Hahaha! Uggh! But, let me explain! Just like yu have yur hme address, every server has its unique address called the IP address that allws the system t be recgnized by ther systems cnnected via Internet prtcl.
When the packages are received by the ruter, the ruter reads the IP address infrmatin mentined n the package and then sends it t the crrect path t reach its destinatin by fllwing certain rules. Yes, my friends, just like we have traffic rules t prtect us frm any accidents, the Internet has sme rules and regulatins as well called it the TCP.
TCP is a set f prtcls develped fr the Internet t get data frm ne netwrk device t anther, and by fllwing these prtcls, the data gets delivered in the best pssible way t its destinatin withut any prblems and issues.
