    Be able t talk abut the jbs by using the sentence structure “What des he/she d?”
    Be able t listen and get the infrmatin t cmplete the task with the help f the teacher.
    Be able t ask and answer abut their parents’ careers.

    Step 1: Warm-up & Revisin & Lead-in
    Greetings
    Let’s sing: sing the sng tgether t lead in the tpic f jbs
    Revisin: The teacher presents sme pictures t lead students t guess their jbs. The teacher helps students t review the wrds “dctr/nurse/...”.
    Step 2 Presentatin
    The teacher says “Tday is Career Day.” t set the backgrund infrmatin.
    Then the teacher presents the pictures f “Let’s learn”.Lead students t listen and answer.
    T: It’s Career Day. Zhang Peng and Oliver are talking abut Oliver’s father in frnt f the display. What des Oliver’s father d?
    The teacher writes dwn “business + man=businessman” n the blackbard. Use the picture and the recrding t teach the wrd.
    The teacher leads students t practice the wrd and sentence pattern like this:
    A: What des he d?
    B: He’s a businessman.
    Then teach the ther three wrds in the same way “plice fficer/ pstman/factry wrker”
    Step 3: Practice
    Students read the wrds tgether.
    Game: Flash cards
    Students wrk in grups t read the wrds as fast as they can.
    Listen and match:
    (1)Shw the part f “Listen, match and say” .
    T: Chen Jie and Jhn are talking abut the jbs f their parents. What d they d? Nw let’s listen and match.
    (2)Play the recrding. Students listen t the recrding and match by themselves.
    (3)Check the answers.
    Play the recrding again. Check the answers.
    (4)Wrk in pairs.
    Students ask and answer in pairs.
    A: What des Jia Jie’s mther d?
    B: She’s a businesswman.

    Step 4 Prductin
    Make a survey
    Students wrk in grups t talk abut their parents’ jb with the sentence pattern “ What des yur mther/father d?” “He/She is...”
    Step 5 Summary
    The teacher plays the vide and summarize “Every prfessin deserves t be respected
