—Are they yurs, Peter?它们是你的吗,彼得?—N, they aren't.不,它们不是。问句是用来询问物品归属的一般疑问句。yurs是名词性物主代词,意思是“你的;你们的”后面不跟名词。因为主语是复数they, 故be动词用are。当主语是this/it等单数时,be动词用is。把are/is提到句首可以变成一般疑问句,肯定回答用yes,否定回答用n。
—Are they yurs, Peter?它们是你的吗,彼得?—N, they aren't.不,它们不是。句型结构:Be动词+主语+名词性物主代词?肯定回答: Yes,主语+ be动词.否定回答:N,主语+be动词+ —Are these apples yurs?—N, they aren’t mine. They’re my sister’s.
—Whse cap is this?这是谁的帽子?—It's mine.它是我的。问句是用来询问物品归属的特殊疑问句。whse是特殊疑问词,意思是“谁的”,后面常跟名词。主语this 为单数,be动词用is;主语为复数,be动词则用are。
—Whse cap is this?这是谁的帽子?—It's mine.它是我的。句型结构: Whse +主语+ be动词+其他?回答:主语+ be动词+其他 —Whse bks are these?—They’re the girls’.
—Whse cap is this?这是谁的帽子?—It's mine.它是我的。【注意】girls 是复数,在英语中,以s结尾的复数名词,其后面不能直接加’s,而是只加一个“’”,省略s, 所以用girls’ 表示。
—Can yu put them n his bed?你能把它们放到他的床上吗?—Sure.好的。问句是以can为首的一般疑问句。can 的意思是“能够”,是情态动词,后面跟动词原形一起作谓语。把can提到句首可以变成一般疑问句,其肯定回答用yes,否定回答用n,通常肯定回答还可以用sure。
—Can yu put them n his bed?你能把它们放到他的床上吗?—Sure.好的。句型结构:Can+主语+动词+其他?肯定回答: Sure./Yes,主语+ can.否定回答: N,主语+ can’—Can he play ftball?—N, he can't.
