1. hardly ever
(1) hardly 作副词，相当于almst n、almst nt,意为 “几乎不；几乎没有”，其本身表示否定含义，不能再与否定词连用。
I hardly knw yu. It was s fggy that the driver culd hardly make ut the way ahead.
（2）hardly ever表示频率，其表达的含义与seldm或almst never相近，意为“几乎从不”。
She hardly ever(=seldm) calls me.
She lives in Spain, we hardly ever(=almst never)see her.
2. nce/twice a week
nce a week是表示频率的短语，意为“一周一次”，常用来回答hw ften的提问。其中nce作副词，意为“一次”。

twice作副词，在此处意为“两次”。twice a mnth/year意为“一月/年两次”，表示频率。

3. 频度副词 (Adverbs f Frequency)
频度副词表示事情发生的频率， 可用来回答hw ften引导的问句。 常用的频度副词有always，almst always， usually，ften， smetimes，hardly ever（seldm），never等，它们在频度上的差异可以这样表示：always(100%)>almst always>usually>ften>smetimes>hardly ever(seldm)>never(0%)频度副词通常放在动词前面，若句子里有情态动词、助动词或系动词be,则放在这类动词（第一个）的后面。例如：It's always interesting t watch ther peple shw their talents.Why d peple usually make reslutins?When we watch mvies abut the future, we smetimes see rbts.They hardly ever watch TV.Fewer peple will d such jbs in the future because they are bring, but rbts will never get bred.
4. Hw ften d yu exercise? 你多久锻炼一次？ exercise v. 锻炼 e.g. I exercise every day. Mr Smith exercises every mrning in the park. exercise n. 运动、锻炼 (不可数名词) 习题、体操 (可数名词) (常和动词 d 搭配使用，做“体操”讲时多用复数) take/d exercise 做运动 d mrning exercises 做早操 d eye exercises 做眼保健操
5. Hw ften d yu have pian lessns? 你多久上一次钢琴课呢？
Hw ften + 助动词 d (des 或 did) + 主语 + d sth. ? 是对频率（多久一次）进行提问。疑问词 hw ften (在这里助动词 d, des 或 did 是起疑问的作用) 与一般现在时或一般过去时连用，回答一般用表频率的副词 always, usually, ften, smetimes, never 等或者是“次数+ 一段时间”，如 nce/twice a mnth, three times a mnth, every year, every week 等。
