hardly /ˈhɑːdli/ adv.几乎不；几乎没有[副词]表示否定含义。常用于实义动词之前，连系动词、情态动词或助动词之后。The shy girl hardly talked t peple in scial activities. 这个害羞的女孩几乎不在社交活动中与人交谈。He culd hardly believe his eyes. 他几乎不敢相信自己的眼睛。
