The ship was the Birkenhead, a steam-pwered trpship transprting British trps t Suth Africa. On 26 February, 1852, the ship hit an uncharted rck while runding the Cape f Gd Hpe.
There were abut six hundred and eighty n bard,f whm fifty were wmen and children. The remainders were sldiers and fficers f the 74th Highlanders, led by Majr Alexander Sextn. In additin,the ship was laded with hrses.
The cllisin(碰撞)had already caused dzens f the trps t drwn as they slept belw the deck. Majr Sextn rdered the survivrs n deck, and in ne f the mre remarkable displays f curage seen, the sldiers std silently t attentin as the wmen and children were laded int the life-bats.
The ship was sinking rapidly and leaning, but they cntinued t stand until all the wmen and hrses were driven ver-bard t give them a chance. Only then, at the rder frm Majr Sextn, did they break ranks and try t save their wn lives. But the ship brke up, and fur hundred and eighty-eight f the sldiers died.
The sldiers f the ship shws even greater discipline and nbility than the Titanic under the extreme cnditins f a disaster. The stries f the curage mainly shwn in the face f death mved the wrld.

Sample:The stry tk place in the suth east cast f Asia n December 26th, 2004. We fllw ur main character Lucas and his family as they spent their vacatin n the cast. As Lucas is playing happily with his brthers and his father, a terrible tsunami hit the cast and they were all washed away by the waves. Unwilling t abandn his life and his family members, Lucas kept swimming and searching fr his mther. He finally made it t safety with his mm by the help f the trees and flating things.
In the end, he fund his brthers and father t. I think the stry is tuching because the by is brave and persistent, he tried hard and never give up.
Frm the stry, I realize that when we are in difficulty, we need t be ptimistic and be strng. Nthing is impssible as lng as we d nt give up.
