    Sectin A Grammar Fcus 教案
    I. Learning Objectives
    1. Understand and apply special interrgative sentences guided by "what",
    "where", and "why".
    2. Understand and apply causal adverbial clauses guided by "because" t
    express their preferences and dislikes fr animals.
    3. Master the singular and plural frms f cmmn animal nuns and
    their usage.
    4. Knw the characteristics f each animal and play an animal guessing
    game.
    5. Cultivate lve fr animals and enhance the awareness f prtecting
    them.
    II. Teaching Prcedures
    Step 1: Lead-in (5 minutes)
    1. Shw a vide f animals and ask students:
    "What animals can yu see in the vide?"
    2. Encurage students t answer in English.
    3. Display pictures f animals such as mnkeys, penguins, giraffes, etc.,
    and ask:
    "D yu like these animals? Why r why nt?"

    4. Intrduce the key grammar pint "because" and its usage.
    Step 2: Presentatin and Practice (20 minutes)
    1. Grammar Fcus n "because"
    (1)Present sentences frm the Grammar Fcus and ask students t
    circle the wrd "because".
    (2)Guide students t bserve the sentence structure and summarize the
    usage f "because".
    Examples: "Why d yu like dgs? Because they are friendly."
    "Why desn't she like cats? Because they are t lazy."
    (3)Let students imitate the examples and create their wn sentences.
    2. Nuns: Singular and Plural Frms
    (1)Shw pictures r real bjects t cmpare singular and plural frms
    f nuns.
    (2)Explain the rules f nun pluralizatin, including regular changes
    (e.g., adding "-s") and irregular changes (e.g., "sheep - sheep").
    (3)Have students practice cnverting singular nuns t plural frms and
    vice versa.
    (4)Highlight cmmn mistakes, such as "fxes", "mice", "whales", etc.
    Special Interrgative Sentences
    (5)Review the usage f "what", "where", and "why" t guide special
    interrgative sentences.

    (6)Prvide examples and let students practice frming and answering
    special interrgative sentences.
    Step 3: Dialgue Practice (15 minutes)
    1. Grup students int pairs and distribute dialgue practice materials.
    2. Let students practice the dialgue and emphasize the use f the target
    grammar and vcabulary.
    3. Invite a few pairs t present their dialgues, and let ther students
    listen, evaluate, and prvide feedback.
    Step 4: Fill-in-the-Blank Exercise (10 minutes)
    1. Display sentences n the bard that cntain nuns in bth singular and
    plural frms, as well as special interrgative sentences.
    2. Ask students t fill in the blanks with the crrect frms f nuns and
    cmplete the sentences.
    3. Review and crrect the answers tgether, emphasizing key pints.
    Step 5: Animal Guessing Game (10 minutes)
    1. Divide students int grups and let ne student frm each grup think
    f an animal.
    2. The ther students in the grup ask questins t guess the animal,
    using the target grammar and vcabulary (e.g., "Is the animal big?" "Des

    it cme frm Africa?").
    3. Cntinue until the animal is guessed crrectly, then switch rles.
    4. Encurage students t use the grammar and vcabulary learned in class
    during the game.
    Step 6: Assignment (5 minutes)
    1. Review the main cntent f the class, including "because" clauses,
    nun pluralizatin rules, and special interrgative sentences.
    2. Emphasize key and difficult pints and prvide psitive feedback n
    students' perfrmance.
    III. Teaching Reflectin
    Successful Aspects: Students were engaged in the lead-in activities, and
    the use f task-based and situatinal teaching methds helped them
    understand and apply the grammar pints.
    Areas fr Imprvement: Sme students struggled with irregular nun
