    I. Teaching Objectives:
    1. Knwledge Objectives:

    instructins.
    (2)Understand the structure f imperative sentences (Verb + Object).
    (3)Recgnize and practice negative imperatives (Dn’t + Verb).

    (1)Be able t use imperatives t give clear instructins in daily life.
    (2)Imprve the ability t make suggestins and ffer advice in
    English using imperative sentences.
    3. Affective Objectives:
    (1)Encurage students t respect rules and understand the imprtance
    f rder in different cntexts (classrm, hme, sciety).
    (2)Fster a psitive attitude twards using English in real-life
    cmmunicatin.

    (1)Negative imperatives: Use f "Dn’t + Verb."

    Step 1: Warm-up (5 minutes)
    1. Activity: Begin by shwing a few pictures related t rules and rders
    (e.g., a picture f a classrm, a street, a library).
    2. T-S Interactin: Ask students: "What rules d we need t fllw in
    these places?" (e.g., "Dn't talk ludly in the library," "Fllw the traffic
    rules").
    Purpse: T engage students and intrduce the theme f rules and rder,
    which cnnects t the grammar pint f imperatives.
    Step 2: Presentatin (10 minutes)
    1. Affirmative Imperatives:
    (1)Write n the bard: "Sit dwn," "Open yur bk," "Raise yur hand."
    (2)Explain that these are imperative sentences used t give rders,
    instructins, r suggestins. The subject (yu) is usually implied.
    Example: "Sit dwn" = "Yu sit dwn."
    2. Negative Imperatives:
    (1)Write n the bard: "Dn't talk," "Dn't run," "Dn't shut."
    (2)Explain that negative imperatives are used t tell smene nt t d
    smething.
    Dn’t + base verb (e.g., Dn't g, Dn’t speak).
    - Example: "Dn’t talk" = "Yu dn't talk."

    3. Key Fcus: Emphasize the use f "Dn’t" fr making negative
    imperatives.
    - Example Sentences:
    - Affirmative: "Sit dwn, please."
    - Negative: "Dn’t talk in class."
    Step 3: Guided Practice (10 minutes)
    Activity 1: Matching Imperatives
    (1)Prepare a set f sentences with affirmative and negative imperatives n
    ne side and crrespnding pictures n the ther side (e.g., a picture f a
    student sitting dwn, a picture f a student talking).
    (2)Students will match the sentences with the crrect picture.
    Purpse: This activity helps reinfrce the use f imperatives in

    Activity 2: Imperative Sentence Frmatin
    (1)Write an incmplete imperative sentence n the bard (e.g., "______
    talk in class"). Ask students t fill in the blank with the crrect wrd (e.g.,
    "Dn’t talk in class").
    (2)Have the students create 3 affirmative and 3 negative imperative
    sentences with their wn ideas.

    imperatives.
    Step 4: Prductin (10 minutes)
    Activity 1: Rle Play
    1. In pairs, students will rle-play situatins where they give each ther
    instructins. Fr example, ne student acts as a teacher giving
    instructins fr classrm behavir, while the ther acts as a student
    fllwing the rules.
    2. Encurage them t use bth affirmative and negative imperatives in
    their rle play (e.g., "Sit dwn," "Dn’t speak ludly").
    - Purpse: T prvide students with a practical applicatin f the
    grammar pint in a real-life scenari.
    Activity 2: Class Discussin
    1. Ask students t share sme cmmn rules r instructins they fllw at
    hme, at schl, r in their cmmunity.
    2. Encurage them t express these rules using imperative sentences (e.g.,
    "Dn’t eat in the living rm," "Dn’t frget yur hmewrk").
