    Listening and speaking teaching is a very imprtant cntent in senir high schl English teaching. Listening is mainly a prcess f language input, infrmatin acquisitin, and active understanding and absrptin f infrmatin. Listening is the premise f speaking, and speaking is mainly the utput f language, the prcess f actively expressing and cnveying infrmatin, and the perfrmance f language utput and externalizatin. The tw cmplement each ther, prmte and imprve each ther.
    Listening ability is nt nly the ability f students t distinguish sunds, but als the ability t distinguish and understand language. Therefre, the intrductin f cultural backgrund knwledge behind the language has becme an integral part f listening teaching. Did Yu Knw is a sectin f backgrund knwledge intrductin, which prvides a shrt article abut vlunteer activities at hme and abrad, which helps students t knw mre abut the develpment f vlunteer activities at hme and abrad. On the basis f text teaching, teachers can supplement students with infrmatin abut dmestic and freign vlunteer rganizatins. At the same time, teachers can als encurage students t use the Internet t cllect infrmatin abut dmestic and freign charities and vlunteer rganizatins befre class, s as t deepen students' understanding f charity and stimulate their desire t devte themselves t charity.
    Learning t learn is a learning strategy instructin sectin that instructs students hw t make inquiries by phne, especially when they d nt hear clearly, they need t ask again t ensure that they get accurate infrmatin. A7 Middle schl students get basic infrmatin by listening t dialgue. A8 Students listen t the dialgue again t get detailed infrmatin and fill in the registratin frm. At the same time, students shuld learn hw t make telephne inquiries accrding t the listening. A9 Middle schl students carry ut pair wrk with the help f the prmpts in the Cmmunicatin bank at the end f the bk fr cnversatin practice, aiming at using what they have learned fr telephne inquiry. A10 middle schl students carry ut pair wrk, think abut pssible vlunteer services, and cnduct telephne inquiries. Thrugh cmprehensive skills training in real cntext, students can deepen their understanding f the meaning f the unit theme and imprve their cmprehensive language applicatin ability.

    Thrugh the study f the first tw classes, students have a certain understanding f the meaning f the theme f "be ready t help thers, be enthusiastic abut public welfare, and actively participate in vlunteers" and have reserved certain tpic vcabulary, which has laid a fundatin fr the further expansin and deepening f this lessn. Hwever, learning by listening t infrmatin and using the expressin f "telephne inquiry" t understand hw t engage in vlunteer service will still becme a difficulty in learning, and teachers' help and guidance are needed.
