3.学生能够注意发音中的元音字母弱化现象,并角色扮演对话。
4.学生能够结合自己的实际情况完成选择,并讨论想要加入的社团。
【重点难点】
重点:学生能理解并运用目标语言结构,表达加入或不加入某个社团。
难点:准确识别并模仿对话中的语音现象,如失去爆破和无声化音素。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Lead- in
1. Greet students and ask abut their daily activities, using the fllwing sentences.
T: What activities d yu d after schl? What can yu d? Can yu play basketball? What club d yu want t jin?
2. Lead int the tpic f schl clubs and ask students t share their knwledge r experi- ences.
Step 2 Wrk n 2a
1. Lk at the picture n 2a and talk abut the picture. Predict what students will study.
2. Present 2a and explain the task: Listen t the cnversatin and fill in the blanks.
3. Play the recrding fr the first time and ask students t listen carefully.
4. Play the recrding again and ask students t fill in the blanks.
5. Check answers and discuss any difficult pints. The answers are:
(1)I have n idea;(2) What abut yu;(3)I'd lve t;(4) That's great.
Explain the fllwing items carefully:

1. Shw 2b and ask students t read the cnversatin silently.
2. Explain the task: Cmplete the table with infrmatin frm the cnversatin. Guide students t find the relevant infrmatin and fill in the table. Discuss the cmpleted table and crrect the errrs.
Step 4 Wrk n 2c
1. Explain the cncept f vwel reductin and its imprtance in fluent English speaking. Play the recrding fr 2c and ask students t listen and pay attentin t the letters that are silent.
2. Mdel the cnversatin with vwel reductin and ask students t repeat after yu.
3. Pair students up and let them rle- play the cnversatin, encuraging them t use vwel reductin.
4. Ask several pairs t act ut in class.
Step 5 Wrk n 2d
1、Hand ut wrksheet fr 2d and explain the task: Circle can r can't with yur wn infrma- tin. Then tick the club(s) yu want t jin. Let students cmplete the wrksheet individually.

1. Explain the task fr 2e: Discuss what clubs yu want t jin with yur grup members. Di- vi de students int grups and let them discuss. Encurage students t use the language learned in class and express their pinins.

Step 7 Summary and Hmewrk
Summarize the main pints f the lessn.
Assign hmewrk: Ask students t write a shrt paragraph abut the club they want t jin and the reasns.
