    Book 3 Unit 6 Starting out板块教学设计教学内容分析This section contains a video of the Italian city of Pompeii destroyed by a volcanic eruption and four posters from disaster movies. The video aims to show the devastated city of Pompeii and provoke students to think about the great impact of natural disasters on human history. Four disaster movie posters can further stimulate students' interest in learning, guide students to pay attention to the suddenness and destructiveness of natural disasters, and have a preliminary perception of how to deal with natural disasters.教学目标1. Obtain specific information about the volcanic eruption of Pompeii by watching videos, activate background knowledge, and preliminarily introduce topics;2. Be able to understand the common reactions of people in the face of disasters, and initially think about how to face disasters.教学重点难点1. Guide students to obtain relevant information by watching video materials and talk about the great impact of natural disasters on human beings;2. Guide students to analyze how people actively respond to natural disasters, and initially perceive the correct attitude and scientific measures to be adopted in the face of natural disasters.教学过程教学反思The theme context of this unit is "Man and nature", and the content is about natural disasters and a series of reflections caused by natural disasters, including environmental protection, positive attitude in the face of natural disasters and scientific countermeasures. This unit starts with the introduction of natural disasters in human history and movies, shows the impact of natural disasters on human survival and development, as well as the positive attitude of human beings in the face of natural disasters, introduces disaster prevention, response and rescue measures, arouses students' awareness of environmental protection and disaster prevention, and trains students' positive and optimistic attitude towards life. At the same time, there are many important but rare words for students in this context, which need teachers' guidance and explanation. Therefore, this first lesson of this unit is of great significance. In the actual teaching process, the estimated time was quite sufficient at the beginning, but at the end of the starting out part, I found that the time was only half, resulting in the following words being a little too fast.
