This article intrduces the life and paintings f Han Gan, a famus painter f the Tang Dynasty, and reflects Han Gan’s excellence in painting skills thrugh strytelling. The teacher needs t lead students in learning English expressins fr traditinal Chinese art frms and describing them t develp their ability t intrduce Chinese culture in English. There is a need t guide students t understand the famus ancient Chinese painter thrugh the stry f Han Gan painting a hrse, t feel the beauty f Chinese art, t appreciate that art cmes frm life, and t
    cmpare Chinese and freign cultures, t frm a sense f pride in traditinal Chinese culture, and t further develp students' cultural awareness and cultural cnfidence.
    Analysis f the teaching

    This lessn is intended fr students Grade 2 in senir high schl, which is a B-level class in schl. There are abut 40% f minrity students, and abut ne-third f the students’ junir high schls cme frm all regins f the state except Guiyang City. There are cultural differences amng the students, while in general, they identify mre with the excellent traditinal culture f the Chinese natin.
    Hwever, their English fundatin is relatively weak cmpared t the whle schl. Mst students shw little interest in reading teaching class, have sme desire t express themselves, have gd teamwrk spirit. Sme students have weak reading ability and will have sme difficulty in cmprehensin. It is wrth nting that many students are limited by their backgrund knwledge and English reading ability, resulting in difficulties in cmpleting reading exercises, weak thematic discurse awareness, and inability t think actively and deeply abut thematic meaning.
