    The Develping ideas articles are selected literary classics, adapted frm French writer Jules Verne's science fictin nvel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. They are narrative articles.
    In the article, Prfessr Arnnax presented the view f the bttm f the sea frm the perspective f walking with Captain Nem, fcusing n the change f sunlight thrugh the water surface and the feeling f walking n the sand bed f the sea bttm.

    Students have learned tpics related t the cntext f the theme f this unit in junir high schl, and have als learned cntent related t the theme f "Man and nature" in cmpulsry curses One and tw in senir high schl. Hwever, they have little knwledge f the tpic knwledge f explratin spirit, psitive attitude twards life and crrect attitude twards life. Students can express their attitudes and make cmments in English simply, and they can btain detailed infrmatin in reading and reading. Hwever, the cmprehensive use f reading, reading, writing and ther language skills t analyze the discurse, the ability t express views needs t be imprved. Students can identify the primary and secndary relatinships amng varius kinds f infrmatin by cmparisn, but their ability t identify the value f infrmatin is pr, and their ability t frm their wn pinins with critical thinking needs t be imprved.
