    Why: In this diary, the authr recrds her vcatin and feelings s that these experiences can be remembered and may remind readers f it in the future.
    Hw: This text is written in the frm f dairy which is in first persn. It is divided int t tw days and each ne fllws time rder. The authr intrduces her activities in a day, using phrases such as this mrning, fr lunch... Besides, the authr use many adjectives t express her feelings.

    Activity 1 Watch a vide
    Ss are invited t talk abut their life n vcatin and enjy a vide abut Malaysia.Then T will ask them abut it.
    Activity 2 Predictin
    Ss bserve the pictures n the textbk and predict what they are ging t read.
    Intrductins
    By discussing their vcatin, ss can relate their backgrund infrmatin with tday’s lessn. At the same time, the cntext is created and the theme is elicited naturally.
    The vide can inspire ss’ interest and help them understand the text. Lking at the pictures s that they have a predictin f what they are ging t read.
    Activity 3 Read and think
    Ss read the diary and cllect basic infrmatin including time, place, activities and feelings. Then they summarize and finish the mind-map. Then T will intrduce the features f diary.
    Activity 4 Discussin
    Ss analyze and deduce causes f bad trip and discuss hw t prepare a successful trip.
    These activities help ss understand the text lgically. Their thinking skills are cultivated thrugh analyzing and deducing.

    T shw sme beautiful attractins in China and then Ss are divided int grups t d the rle-play, sharing with Jane hw t plan a successful trip t ne f attractins in China.

    Ss and T tgether reflect and summarize what have been learned.
    By grup wrk, ss make use f what they have learned in new cntext. Therefre, their abilities t transfer and slve prblems as well as creativity are cultivated.
