【课时教材分析】
2a-2e是阅读教学板块。阅读文章以重大的突发事件为背景,通过人们的回忆讲述过去正在发生的事。2a让学生通过看插图和标题预测文章的内容,这既是一个阅读前的预热活动,也同2b的阅读任务相联系,同时也是本单元阅读策略的一项重要内容。在2b文章中,五十多岁的罗伯特·艾伦回忆了马丁·路德·金被刺时他家人震惊的经历;凯特·史密斯回忆了世贸大厦被毁时她在办公室里惊恐的心情。2c要求学生对文章的具体信息进行判断。2d是较为深入的阅读理解,涉及到句子形式的变化与语义关系的对应。2e是就文章细节的互相提问与检测。
【课时目标】
通过课前预习及朗读新词汇,学生能理解并运用下列重点单词及短语:passage, pupil,
cmpletely, silence, recently, terrrist, date,twer in silence, take dwn;
通过阅读课文及完成相应练习题等课堂活动,学生能快速获取文章大意,并掌握
skimming的阅读技巧;
3.通过扫读课文即scanning,学生能完成相应阅读练习,并掌握scanning阅读技巧;
4.通过细节阅读练习,学生能在规定时间内完成相应练习题及掌握细节阅读的技巧;
5.通过表演及新闻播报等活动,学生能复述文章,并就该事件正确表达自己的观点,反
对恐怖主义,珍爱和平世界。
