    What: The tpic f this article is Human and Sciety. This lessn is a listening text that discusses New Year's reslutins. There are three speakers wh talked abut their New Year's reslutins and the ways t achieve their reslutins thrugh questins and answers.
    Why: Teach students a useful structure t ask future plan and tell them that they can nly achieve their plans by wrking hard and taking actins.
    Hw: Let students acquire infrmatin by listening t a dialgue and learn structures “what are yu ging t d?” I’m ging t...” and “hw are yu ging t d that?”
    Teaching bjectives
    By the end f the lessn, mst students will be able t understand the listening material and tell thers their New Year’s reslutins by using crrect structures. This will be achieved by:
    inviting students t enjy sme pictures and teaching students phrases such as learn t play the pian, get gd grades,make the sccer team and eat healthier fd and s n.
    asking students t listen t the tape and understand the listening text as well as master sme sentence structures “what are yu ging t d?” I’m ging t...” and “hw are yu ging t d that?”.
    3. asking students t brainstrm sme advice fr my reslutins and making a cnversatin with partner.

    1.Listening: understand the New Year’s reslutins f speakers and hw are they ging t d it.
    2.Vcabulary: get gd grades, make the sccer team, eat healthier fd, and s n.
    3.Structure: understand and use the structure “what are yu ging t d?” I’m ging t...” and “hw are yu ging t d that?”

    Step 1. Lead-in (8mins)
    1. Talk abut the fllwing questins, and lead in the tday’s tpic f New Year’s reslutin.

    D yu have a New Year’s reslutin?
    2. Enjy sme pictures abut reslutins, including learn t play the pian, get gd grades, get lts f exercise and s n, and match them with the crrect phrases.
    (Justificatin: This step can activate students prir knwledge abut New Year and prepare themselves well befre listening .)
    Step 2. Listening (15mins)
    1. Listen t the tape fr the first time, and answer the fllwing questins:

    2. Listen t the tape fr the secnd time and circle the answers f “What are they ging t d”
    3. Listen t the tape fr the third time and cmplete the table.

In this lessn, students start with their wn experience f the New Year, which can attract students' attentin, then grasp infrmatin thrugh listening, and finally help teachers achieve New Year's reslutins by making suggestins. Teachers successfully apply teaching evaluatin integratin int practice, and students nt nly gain knwledge, but als appreciate the imprtance f practice.
