    Enhance speaking skills by discussing and presenting travel plans.
    Develp writing skills by cmpleting activities related t trip planning.
    Emtinal Objectives:
    Intrduce students t famus places f interest, such as the Great Wall and the Palace Museum in Beijing.

    Vcabulary:
    Places f interest (e.g., the Great Wall, Beijing Opera, Palace Museum).
    Travel-related verbs and nuns (e.g., travel, visit, stay, plan, museum, pera, culture, etc.).
    Sentence Structures:
    “Where will yu g?”/“What will yu d?”/“Hw lng will yu stay?”/“I will visit (place).”

    Prnunciatin and sentence fluency:
    Crrect use f future tense fr travel plans: “will + verb.”
    Making a detailed travel plan:
    Hw t present a travel plan with specific details (places f interest, special things abut the place, what activities t d).

    Step 1: Warm up
    Greet the class and ask:
    “Weekend is cming. D yu have any trip plans?”
    “If yu want t make a trip plan, what shuld yu cnsider(考虑)?”
    Shw pictures f the factrs which students may think f r give students sme hints.
    Encurage them t share simple sentences r key wrds they knw.
    (Purpse: Activate prir knwledge and build interest.)
    Step 2: Reading
    Befre reading
    Intrduce Jenny's plan by starting with sme small questins befre the class, and lead the students t learn abut Jenny's travel plan.
    While reading
    First, all the class read Jenny’s trip plan by themselves and answer the fllwing questins tgether. Then, teacher leads students t find the answers in the text ne by ne. Last, translate sme difficult sentences in the text tgether.

    Activity 1
    Analyze the structure f the passage and then finish the timeline.
    (Purpse: Enhance reading cmprehensin and learn the writing methds f trip plan frm the passage.)
    Activity 2
    After analyze Jenny’s trip plan, students need t think abut by themselves, is it a reasnable plan? If nt, what advice culd they give?

    Lk up infrmatin t learn mre abut the famus scenic spts and characteristic cultures f Beijing. Then write a shrt intrductin in English, with n less than 80 wrds. Yu can intrduce the histry, features f the scenic spts, and why yu want t visit them.
