本节课为阅读,但英语阅读对中学生来说是一个薄弱的环节,因而我采用上所采集的新加坡及世界各地的风景名胜以激发学生的兴趣,通过提问,启发,观察并归纳的教法让学生主动想拨开新加坡神秘的面纱。这样既会学有所得也会轻松而不枯燥。

本单元主要学习现在完成时态,以及两个重要的完成时结构的短语“have been t “和“have gne t “的用法区别,涉及主要的话题是用现在完成时谈论是否曾去做过某事,并对现在造成一定的影响或结果。在本课阅读中,还需要掌握记要点的方式归纳理解文章。
