    Teaching prcedures:
    Step I Greetings and revisin
    Greet the whle class as usual.
    Review the stries we have learnt last class.
    Give students sme pictures and sme pieces f music, ask them t guess what stries they are.
    Step II Warming up
    Ask the students t watch a vide abut The Emperr's New Clthes.
    Step III Presentatin
    Teach the new wrds.
    (1)Shw sme pictures n the screen t class and let students lk and guess.
    (2)Write the new wrds n the blackbard and use the new wrds t make sme sentences. In rder t help students remember these new wrds.
    (3)Ask students t read the wrds.
    2. Teach Activity 1a.
    This activity aims t check if students have mastered the new vcabulary.
    First, invite students t read the fur wrds and explain their meanings.
    Then, ask students t lk at the pictures in 1c t match letters with these wrds.
    Give them tw minutes t d this wrk.
    Later, check the answers.

    Step IV Practice
    1. Teach Activity 1b﹠1c.
    These tw activities prvide practice t develp students' listening ability.
    First, lead students t have a quick lk at the instructins t knw what t d and hw t d them.
    After that, play the tape twice fr them t listen.
    The first time, they need t listen carefully and number the pictures.
    The secnd time, they have t fill in the blanks as they hear.
    Play ne mre time fr them t check the answers.
    Finally, check the answers tgether.
    2. Listen again and answer sme questins.
    Play the tape again and ask students t answer the fllwing questins:
    (1)What's the name f the stry?
    (2)Is it a traditinal Chinese stry?
    (3)What was the emperr's hbby?
    (4)Why were the new clthes special?
    (5)Hw d we knw that the tw brthers were really trying t cheat the emperr?
    (6)Why did everyne say that the new clthes were really nice?
    (7)Wh said that the emperr wasn't wearing any clthes?
    Give students sme minutes t discuss and then invite them t answer these questins.

    Ask sme pairs t rle-play the stry.
