本课围绕“课外班”这一话题展开，非常贴近学生生活实际，同时八年级学生也具备了一定的英语表达能力，教师应该创设合适的活动以给学生充分的机会去表现。

Step1: leading in
1．Students perfrm a play abut TFbys.
设计意图: 通过观看学生排演的小品了解上补习班的目的，也就是第一段的主要内容.寓教于乐，同时，当学生知道他们的偶像也在上课外班来实现自己的梦想，就会对课外班有一个更深刻的认识，为实现本课的情感目标埋下伏笔。
2.Watch a vide abut 3 parents’ pinins f after-schl classes.
设计意图:通过本班三位家长谈论自己对课外班的看法，在无形中向学生展示了文章后三段的重点句子。当学生看到自己的父母居然也能说一口流利的英语时，惊讶中更加深了对重点句子的印象。

设计意图:为了帮助学生掌握本节课的重点——学会表达观点，最适合的活动就是辩论会。课前我准备了一些谈论课外班的英语文章，提前发送到学生的pad上供他们参考，学生也可以上查找不会的单词等.最后，利用云教学平台的点赞功能，选出获胜方，进行评价。充分利用现代化手段，降低活动难度并提高学生学习兴趣。
