I dn't think grades are imprtant. Althugh grades are imprtant in many schls, students have different abilities and sme f them can't be measured by grades, such as creativity, abilities t cmmunicate and act.
T start with, I wasn't gd at English and seldm gt high scres n the exams. But ne day, my teacher encuraged me t perfrm in an English play because f my gd prnunciatin and lively expressins. I studied my lines many times and even dressed up like the character s that I culd perfrm well. While we were perfrming, I culd hear my classmates cheering. Hw excited! Later, my teacher praised me fr my wnderful acting and this made me mre cnfident and interested in English.
All in all, grades can be a way t measure students' achievements in schlwrk. Hwever, different interests and abilities can make a student a full man.
