    nly made it halfway? “Wh cares” is what I learned. In the last 100 meters, I heard my name and sptting my
    daughter in the grandstand. I waved and smiled. I ended up crssing the finish line. Althugh it wasn’t the fastest
    time f the day, I prudly made my way thrugh the finishers’ area t receive my medal.
