    On May 16, Gu Ruiting, 14, frm Shenzhen Freign Language Schl, had a big debate (辩论) with her classmates n this tpic.


    Gu believed that making the scres public wuld make students study harder. At first, she explained many theries (理论) that she had cllected n the Internet. But they were t difficult t understand. S she was easily beaten by her ppnent (对方) Du Xiashe.


    “Publishing the results f ur tests is bad fr us,” said Du. He came t this cnclusin (结论) after he failed his histry exam ne mnth ag. He thught it was just an accident. But he felt s hurt when his parents gt a list f his marks. It als shwed the marks f ther students in his class.


    His experience seemed t have wn ver many students. But Gu’s team didn’t give up.
