Step1. Warm-up
1. Greetings.
2. Play the sng “Thunder”, all the students sing it tgether.
Step 2 Preview
T: Last class we travelled at hme, and we knew the weather f sme cities. This class I want t travel abrad. D yu want t travel with me?
S: Yes, I d.
T: We must knw the weather f every place where we will travel. But I have n time t watch weather reprt n TV? Can yu help me?
S: OK.
Step 3 Presentatin
1. Let’s learn
(1) Teacher shws the wrld map t the students.
T: What’s this?
Ss: It’s a map.
T: Yes, it’s a wrld map. She is a weather reprter.
T: What’s she talking abut?
Ss: She’s talking abut the weather.
T: Which city is she talking abut?
Ss: Sydney.
(2) Teacher shws the pictures f five cities and teaches the new wrds abut these five cities.
T: Where is it?
S: It’s Singapre.

(3) Teacher shws the pictures again and teaches the new wrds abut weather.
T: What’s the weather like in Lndn?
Ss: It’s rainy in Lndn.

(4) Play the radi f Let’s learn, Ss listen it carefully. Then Ss read the dialgue after teacher.
(5) Make dialgue with yur partner using the sentence structure.
(6) T be a reprter.
One student is the reprter t reprter the weather, the ther tw students make the dialgue using the sentence structure accrding the reprt.
2. Let’s play
Play a game.
Teacher asks tw students t cme t the blackbard, ne student chse a weather card and a city card, then describe the weather f the city. The ther student says right r wrng accrding real weather cnditin.

---N, it’s warm in Kunming nw.
Step 4 Cnslidatin and extensin
T: In this perid, we have learned five adjectives and five city names. Using these wrds t make dialgue. I will give yu tw minutes t prepare fr it. Yu can add sme infrmatin we have learned in it. If yur dialgue is quite gd. I’ll give yu a beautiful pstcard.
