Step One: Lead in (3分钟)
T: Gd mrning, bys and girls. Tday we are ging t meet a new friend. What’s his name?
Ss: Mr Hipp.
T: Yes. He is Mr Hipp. What’s Mr Hipp’s jb? Can yu guess?
Ss guess.
T: Mr Hipp is a teacher. Lk! This is his schl. Let’s watch a vide t knw mre abut his schl.
(通过智慧教室分享动态屏幕,观看河马先生学校的视频介绍。)
T: What d yu see in Mr Hipp’s schl?
Ss answer.
Step Tw: While-reading (22分钟)
Read the pictures f 1-6 f the stry with the students tgether.
1. Read picture 1 with students.
T: Sme animals cme here. Hw many animals cme t visit Mr Hipp’s schl?
Ss: Fur.
T: Wh are they?
Ss: Zm, Zip, the mnkey and the rabbit. (在黑板贴四个小动物的卡通图片。)
T: Mr Hipp is their guide tday. He says “Welcme t ur schl. This way, please.” Lk! This is his schl. What d yu think f it?
Ss answer.
T: Yes. It’s beautiful. Hw beautiful!
Shw tw pictures f ther places in Mr Hipp’s schl and guide the students t say “Hw beautiful!”.
T: Nw let’s listen and repeat.
(学生跟读,点学生站起来表演,做出欢迎和引路的动作。)
2. Read picture 2 with students.
T: What can yu see in the picture?
Ss: A library, many bks…
T: Yes. What’s this?
Ss: It’s a strybk.
T: Wh likes strybks?
Ss answer.
T: Hw abut Zm? Des Zm like strybks?
Ss answer.
T: They are in the library. What des Mr Hipp say? Let’s listen. “This is the library.”(学生跟读)
T: Wh likes strybks? Let’s check. It’s the mnkey. (学生跟读并模仿兴奋指故事书的动作)
T: What’s Zm thinking abut? Let’s listen.
(三组合演此图片对话;智慧教室抢答功能点三名学生上台表演。)
3. Read picture 3 with students.
T: They cme t the secnd place. What des the mnkey ask?
Ss guess.
T: Let’s listen and repeat.
(板书Is that …? Yes, it is. 师生一起进行对话练习。)
4. Read picture 4 with students.
T: What can yu see in the picture?
Ss answer.
T: Let’s repeat after it.
(学生两人一组对话,通过随机点人功能选学生展示。)
5. Read picture 5 with students.
T: Lk, we can see a cmputer in this rm. Is this a cmputer rm? (板书Is this …? N, it isn’t.)
(全班分为两大组表演对话。)
6. Chse
T: Where d they visit in Mr Hipp’s schl? Please chse the answers quickly.
(用智慧教室测评功能的多选题,让学生选出小动物们参观的地点。)
7. Read picture 6 with students.
T: It’s 12 ’clck. It’s time fr lunch. Lk! Wh is missing?
S: Zm.
T: Where is Zm? Hw d yu knw it? Circle the infrmatin n yur pad.

T: Nw listen and repeat.

9. Act the stry ut in grups.

T: It’s yur turn t retell the stry nw. Yu can try it by yurself first.
