    2. Teacher asks the students t have a cmpetitin in grups t review names f fds and drinks they have learnt. At first let fur students frm different grups write dwn the wrds n the blackbard, then ask anther grup member f their wn grups t help them add mre wrds. The grup where tw grupmates write ut the mst wrds crrectly is the winner.


    3. Teacher asks the students t reprt the hmewrk. Let them act ut a cnversatin abut rdering and ffering fd, using the fllwing sentences:


    (1) May I take yur rder?


    (2) Anything else?


    (3) May I have the bill, please?


    4. Teacher evaluates students’ hmewrk and helps them review hw t rder and ffer fd and drinks.


    5. Teacher leads the new lessn: Many guests cme t the fd festival t enjy the delicius fd. If smene is really busy, and he r she als wants t rder a meal, what shuld he r she d?





    1. Teacher plays the recrding f 1a, and lets students listen and answer the questin: What des Mr. Zha want t rder by phne?


    2. Teacher asks tw students t tell the answers. Teach lemn by shwing the picture.


    3. Teacher asks students t listen t 1a again and cmplete the table f 1b. Shw the picture f desserts t teach them befre listening.

    7. Teacher lets students read 1a alne and find ut the expressins abut hw t rder and ffer fd by phne.

    3. Teacher plays the recrding f 3b again, and lets the students listen and try t imitate.


    4. Teacher lets students practice the cnversatin f 3b with their partners.


    5. Teacher asks the students t design a menu fr Helen’s father, wh plans t set up a restaurant. Let them write the cntents f the menu after discussing. Remind them they can get help frm the menu in 1a.


    6. Teacher asks students t evaluate the menu frm each ther and decide which menu is the best.


    7. Teacher shws the summary f this sectin t the students.


    8. Teacher assigns hmewrk:


    (1) Review the summary after class.


    (2) Search the crrect ways t eat different fd.


    (3) Preview the cntents f Sectin C.
