Unit5 Food 【教学目标】1.学习新单词:popcorn, chicken, apple, ice cream, banana, fish, hamburger, orange juice, milk, pizza, cheese, cola2.熟练掌握早餐单词:cornflakes, toast, tea, juice, rolls, ham3.熟用词汇进行交流,表达自己的喜好;并能礼貌地询问他人,从中了解各地饮食文化特点。学生能用简单的英语谈论自己喜爱的食物。4.使学生了解中西方饮食文化的差异,以及哪些食物对我们有益,哪些有害,培养学生良好的饮食卫生。【教学重点】1.学习新单词:popcorn, chicken, apple, ice cream, banana, fish, hamburger, orange juice, milk, pizza, cheese, cola2.学生能听懂、会说“Do you like …”“What do you like?”并能在实际情境中运用。【教学难点】学生能用简单的英语谈论自己喜爱的食物。【教学准备】录音机、教材相配套的教学录音带、课件、图片、单词卡。【教学过程】Step 1.Warming up1.Greetings: How are you feeling today?2.Sing the action song: FeelingsStep 2.New content presentation1.复习旧单词。2.学习新单词。(1)colaShow the word card and do the action while reading the word, and pay more attention to the pronunciation.(2)orange juiceShow students the orange card first, then show the juice card, then make them together. Ask a pupil to read it, then ask the pupil to lead the students to read it.(3)popcornAsk students to look at the teacher's mouth carefully and my pronunciation.Drill: I show my right hand and students read "pop". I show my left hand and students read "corn". I show my right hand and left hand, then students read "popcorn".(4)hamburgerFirst read the word then play the game: "hide and seek".Step 3.ConsolidationShow example. Draw and match.Step 4.Learn the story1.让学生先看看书中的彩图,猜猜讲了一个什么样的故事。2.和学生讨论中国与英国早餐的差异。3.Listen the chant.接着教师边模仿第一幅图边表演说What's for breakfast? I'm hungry!让学生在理解的基础上模仿、学说。由I'm hungry.引出所要教授的单词课件出示,教读。4.当学生能掌握八个单词后,教师按照chant中的顺序将单词两个一组让学生快速练习。5.当学生能说唱chant后,教师根据chant中的词句编出相应的动作,边说边做,帮助学生记忆。6.出示单词卡,复习所学新单词。Step 5.Summary老师总结今天上课所学内容。【作业布置】1.抄写单词十遍。2.熟悉本课的知识。3.朗读课文。4.了解本课的情景语境,学会运用新句子造句。5.将新学习的语法或句型知识跟班级同学相互练习,加强巩固记忆。
