话题——克隆
假定你是李华, 最近, 你们班上针对克隆问题进行了讨论, 主题是“Should cloning be encouraged or banned? ”。请写一篇短文, 客观地介绍正反两方面的信息, 并适当提出自己的观点。
【参考范文】
We have had a class meeting recently on whether cloning should be encouraged or banned and we have different opinions.
①Some students think cloning technology should be encouraged because it is the progress of science. It will be beneficial to human. For example, if a couple can’t have children, cloning could help them have a child. Meanwhile, some endangered animals will continue living with the help of cloning technology. ②On the other hand, however, many more students think cloning should be banned because it will break the balance of nature. Some scientists may misuse it for bad purposes. To clone a Hitler, for example, cloning would be dangerous. ③Besides, the technology is far from perfect. Some cloned animals will get ill easily and die young.
As far as I’m concerned, I am for cloning. If used wisely, the technology may eventually free humans from many kinds of sufferings.
